Even though it has always been standard practice to thoroughly clean the cabin, galley, and lavatory after every GAC flight, we are extra vigilant, retraining staff, and standardizing our cleaning products during this heightened awareness to ensure they are consistent with CDC recommendations. With all of the concerns related to the COVID-19, we would like to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure you have both a safe and comfortable flying experience.
Clean Aircraft – GAC thoroughly disinfects all surfaces on our aircraft after each flight using EPA-recommended disinfectant products, per CDC guidance. Our disinfection process includes all tables, countertops, ledges, video screens, cup holders, railings, doorknobs, passenger buttons, vents, and the lavatory.
Your Safety is Our Safety- In addition to providing masks to our flight crews, we are conducting supplementary training above and beyond our standard sanitation training. The added training covers safe food handling, safe garbage removal, and frequent handwashing. GAC has ordered Rapid COVID-19 Tests, giving us the ability to test crews before each flight. Additionally, we advise the team members to remain home if sick or if any symptoms arise.
Fresh Ambient Air on All Flights- We take great concern for the health of our passengers. We provide hand sanitizer on our airplanes for crew and passenger use, in addition to soap and water for handwashing. Our Gulfstream compartment air is replenished with ambient air every 4-6 minutes. There is no recirculating air, ensuring you can breathe safely, even at 31,000 feet.
