Vasili Noulas is a GAC first officer who enjoys flying around Long Island and traveling to Greece. Read on to meet Vasili!
Where did you grow up?
Long Island, New York.
What education and certifications do you hold?
I currently hold a Commercial ASEL, AMEL, ASES, CFI, CFII, MEI, and a CE-680 type rating.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a pilot?
During my senior year of high school, I took an introductory flight with a local flight school. The second we took off I knew I wanted it to be my career.
What do you enjoy most about your position?
Getting to visit new places all around the world.
In your opinion, what makes a good pilot?
Exercising an immense amount of discipline, integrity, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Another crucial trait to have as a pilot is to always be willing to learn from anyone, regardless of experience.
What motivates you to do the best on the job?
I strive to consistently improve myself both as a pilot and as a GAC crew member. My goal is to provide the best possible service to anyone GAC serves.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I enjoy going to the gym, reading, seeing friends and family, flying around Long Island, and going to the shooting range with my dad.
What is your favorite travel destination?
My favorite travel destination is Greece. I enjoy visiting family there and exploring new places.
